Troopers ID 23-Year-Old Alexandria Man Who Fell 28 Feet In Fatal Crash

A 23-year-old Alexandria man died after he was thrown off of his motorcycle and fell nearly 30 feet onto the interstate on Sunday afternoon, June 26, authorities said.

Braydon A. Stone drove his 2019 Kawasaki Ninja off the left side of a ramp on I-495 as he took the exit for Eisenhower Ave toward Mill Road around 3 p.m., Virginia State Police said. He hit a cement wall, which launched him through the air and onto the highway 28 feet below the overpass. 

Troopers rushed him to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he later died of his wounds, troopers said. He was wearing a helmet, they said. 

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
